NH.com hosts fall festival featuring New England’s best beers and wines
The 2nd annual Wicked Wine and Brew Fest, a unique tasting event featuring New England wineries and breweries, will be held Saturday, Sept. 11, from 2-6 p.m. at Mel's Funway Park on Route 3A in Litchfield.
This is an outdoor rain or shine event that benefits the New Hampshire Food Bank.
Music entertainment will be provided by Manchester's own Josh Logan as well as local radio station 106.3 Frank FM. Event attendees will have a chance to meet and greet with greater Nashua's favorite morning DJ Sarah Sullivan.
Breweries participating in this year's event include Anheuser-Busch , Green Mountain Cidery, Kona Brewing Company, Long Trail Brewing Company, Martha's Exchange, Samuel Adams, Redhook Brewery, Shipyard Brewing Company, Smuttynose Brewing Company, and Woodstock Inn Brewery.
Attendees can also sip wine and cider from LaBelle Winery, Jewell Towne Vineyards, Grape Time Winery, Farnum Hill Ciders, Haunting Whisper Vineyards, Silver Mountain Cider & Wines and Zorvino Vineyards
Besides great beers and wines there will be delicious food and beverages from Cabot Cheese, the Sausage King, Troy's BBQ, Edible Arrangements, Biba and Boylan's Pure Cane Soda.
Discounted tickets for sampling adults 21 and older can be purchased in advance online or at The Telegraph's offices at 17 Executive Drive in Hudson for $20. Tickets may also be purchased on the day of the event for $25.
Tickets for designated drivers and ages 20 and younger can be purchased for $5 on the day of the event. Children 5 and younger will be admitted for free.
The ticket price for sampling adults includes admission to Wicked Wine and Brew Fest, 10 sampling tickets, and access to event vendors and musical entertainment. Additional sampling tickets will be available. The first 2,000 sampling attendees will receive a commemorative glass perfect for wine and beer samples.
