Keene Ice & Snow Festival

The Greater Keene Chamber of Commerce will present the 9th annual Keene Ice and Snow Festival from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, February 6, in downtown Keene. This family-fun event features ice carving, snow sculpting, snowboarding rail jam competitions, musical performances, bonfore, wagon rides and much much more! The Festival is free and open to the public.
The main venues for activities are Central Square, Railroad Square, and behind the skate park on Gilbo Ave. New activities added to the Festival this year are the Lil’ Tot Snow Slide, Downtown Scrabble, character photos, and child ID making.
SCHEDULE:
10-10:30 a.m.-
Ice carving & snow sculpting competitions start with ringing of Church bells
Ice Carver locations: Keene Fresh Salads, Good Fortune, Hannah Grimes, Lindy’s Diner, Computer Solutions of Keene, Timoleon’s, Pedraza’s Mexican Restaurant, Fritz, Sak’s Thrift Avenue, TD Bank, Monadnock Imaging, and Marriott and Luca’s Mediterranean Café carvers on Central Square.
Railroad Square: Snow sculpting competitors
10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

-Non-profit food vendors: MRHS Interact & Jonathan Daniels Ecology Camp
-Snowman Central cookie decorating (while supplies last) provided by Price Chopper
-Ice art activities
