Edible book contest wants your tasty takes on tomes

Thursday, April 9, 2015

NASHUA – Use your imagination to create an entirely edible, literature-based concoction and enter it into the Nashua Public Library’s Edible Book Contest. It could look like a book, be inspired by the content of a book, or resemble a character in a book, but it must be made entirely of edible ingredients.

Entries must be delivered to the Music/Art/Media Department in the library at 2 Court St. from 1-1:30 p.m. Sunday, April 19. Patrons who visit the library from 1:30-4 p.m. that day will vote for their favorite entry, and the winners will be announced at 4 p.m.

A prize will be awarded to the winning entry in each of three categories: Children (ages 15 and younger), adults (ages 16 and older), and families (child and adult).

Details, rules and an entry form are available at www.tinyurl.com/nplediblebook. For more information, contact Carol Eyman at 589-4610 or Carol.Eyman@nashua
