CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — The New Hampshire Attorney General’s office is investigating the disappearance of about $100,000 worth of wine.
The 300 cases turned up in a state liquor outlet stock room in Portsmouth with no paper trail — and then vanished several days later.
Liquor Commission Chairman Joe Mollica tells WMUR-TV (http://bit.ly/MkoZG4) the department’s law enforcement division has conducted an investigation since the December disappearance and brought the case to the attention of the Rockingham County attorney. He said that office found the case was inconclusive.
Mollica said the case was forwarded to the attorney general in June.
