Community Benefit Sundays at 7th Settlement Brewery
7th Settlement Brewery will be hosting non-profits and community groups on Sundays with a Chef's Whim menu, drink specials, and more, donating 10 percent of the day's net profits to the featured organization of the day. 7th Settlement diners can opt for a family-style meal, so bringing the kids is always an option, and the benefit runs all day, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., to accommodate everyone’s schedule. To launch this new series, 7th Settlement begins by partnering with Seacoast Local on Sunday, Feb. 16. Everyone is encouraged to come and enjoy lunch, dinner, and drinks at the brewpub, as always. Information and representatives from the organization will be on hand so neighbors can learn more about its contribution to the local community. Free brewery tours will also be available from noon to 2 p.m., and you can call ahead to reserve your spot. "Businesses were originally designed to benefit the community they are created in. We're just trying to get back to that," says David Boynton, co-founder and manager of 7th Settlement. “We picked Sunday for our benefit day because it ties in well with our longtime New England traditions of gathering and relaxing on this day with family, neighbors and friends and nourishing our relationships with each other. We hope the atmosphere on Community Benefit Sundays reflects that and everyone feels welcome.”
We are dedicated to providing accurate event information, however, we advise calling ahead to confirm dates, times, location, and other details.
