Free Demo Children's Yoga Class (preK & Kindergarten)
Yoga for children and yoga for adults are slightly different. To keep the children engaged, yoga needs to be fun! We are able to keep the classes exciting while incorporating different yoga techniques such as breathing (pranayama), meditation & poses (asana) in every class. We utilize different medias throughout the class to keep it exciting for the children. They learn different yoga techniques through story-telling, books, songs, games, crafts and dance. We use partner poses and sharing time to inspire mindfulness.
The benefits of yoga for children are overwhelming. It boosts children's confidence while minimizing anxiety, stress and even depression. Yoga provides them with tools to manage everyday obstacles & become better problem solvers. Physically, yoga improves strength, balance and overall fitness. Most importantly, yoga is creative and fun!
