Hollis Brookline High School presents the Broadway musical "The Wedding Singer", a romantic and hilarious comedy based on the popular, laugh-out-loud movie starring Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore.
The Wedding Singer brings us Robbie Hart and Julia Sullivan, New Jersey’s answer to Romeo and Juliet. It’s 1985, and Robbie, a rock-star wannabe and wedding singer, has just been dumped by his own fiancée.Heartbroken, he is forced to reexamine the meaning of love and marriage with the help of Julia, a waitress from one of his wedding-singing venues. "The Wedding Singer" is packed with 1980s pop-culture references and songs from weepy power ballads to hip-smackin’ rock!
