Kong's Night Out
The Community Players of Concord, NH proudly present this new 1930's screwball comedy by NH playwright, Jack Neary. The story: producer Myron Siegel is looking forward to the opening night of his new Broadway show, “Foxy Felicia." When he finds out that most of his audience has left to buy tickets to the new production across the street, he discovers that his longtime nemesis, Carl Denham, has set out to ruin him. This comedic farce turns “show business” into “monkey business” as we find out what was really happening in the hotel suite next door on the night Ann Darrow was taken by King Kong. “Kong” is loaded with 1930′s silliness, slapstick, art deco fashion and glamor. It will keep you laughing from start to finish with its colorful characters, snappy banter, borderline corny jokes, slamming doors, and oh, of course – pie in the face. Directed by Michael Coppola.
