NHPCC Winter Festival to be held at McIntyre Ski Area
The excitement is building for the New Hampshire Prostate Cancer Coalition’s Fifth Annual Winter Festival and Ski Challenge. The Winter Festival is the Coalition’s largest fundraiser of the year. Come to McIntyre Ski Area for an evening of fun including skiing, tubing, racing and more. Compete in the Mayor’s Tube Race, or sign up as a team for the ski race. You can participate n the Ski Challenge as a team or individually. Teams of 4 can register for $200, or individuals can register for $50. Preregistration is not required, but the first 100 racers to sign up will receive a free T-shirt and a “swag bag” of goodies. You can register on the website at www.nhprostatecancer.org or the day of the event. There will be great prizes for the top finishers. In addition to the Ski Challenge, the evening will include a kids’ ski race. There is no additional charge for this race. The Mayor’s Tube Race promises to be fun with Manchester Police and Firefighters competing against each other and against the public for the coveted Mayor’s Trophy. Registration for the Mayor’s Tube Race is only $15. Additionally, the evening will include a silent and live auction. Auction items will include a half hour helicopter ride, a cruise to the Isle of Shoals for up to 6 people, a 5 day stay at a Loon Mountain ski condo this winter, and a 5-day summer condo stay at Loon Mountain For friends, family and non-racers, the general admission fee is $20 for adults, $10 for students 7-17 and no charge for children aged 6 and under to enjoy open skiing and tubing, food and soft drinks.
