Free NH Events & Family Activities, Plus Facebook Fan Favorites

Wednesday, June 4, 2014

We polled our Facebook fans for the best free New Hampshire activities; here are the results:

Free Things To Do: Fun Free Activities

New Hampshire beaches took the lead with 40% of voters preferring the warm NH sands and sun than any other free activity. There was a three-way tie, with a 20% vote for playgrounds/parks, motorcycles, and drag racing. Hiking received no votes in this poll, however, there is no denying the magnificence of New Hampshire's White Mountain trails!

NH.com is committed to compiling the top New Hampshire events and activities resource. In cooperation with our communities, and our readers and fans, we are constantly updating our interactive maps with new information. Our Free Things To Do Page offers playground reviews from New Hampshire parents, a state parks map with activities information (including the best beaches!), and a up-to-date calendar full of free events around the state! See below for some of this week's free events!

There are many free or low-cost activities for New Hampshire family fun in the spring and summer time! At NH.com/Spring-Fun, you can search our hiking trails map, or covered bridges map, and plan an invigorating family outing. Or browse our spring recipes for a sweet treat! Check out NH.com/Sun-Fun for our NH fireworks resource and some great cookout recipes for summer family gatherings!

We are always looking to update our activities resources with new information. If you have a playground or hiking trail review, or spring or summer recipe to share, please send the information to jjordan@nh.com!
