Wicked Wine and Brew Fest 2013 Event Preview
Wednesday, September 4, 2013
Fall in New Hampshire is quickly approaching. September hits, and suddenly the turning leaves seem imminent. The air is crisp, but not too cold, and it's a great time to enjoy the outdoors with friends.
Like the autumn foliage, New Hampshire proudly bears an array of amber-hue brews! The Telegraph's Wicked Wine & Brew Fest is a toast to the best breweries and wineries in the area!
This event will again be held in Litchfield at Funway Park, 454 Charles Bancroft HWY, Litchfield. For those not familiar, the Wicked Wine and Brew Fest celebrates local wineries and breweries. Attendees get to taste beer and wine samplings from 20 wineries and breweries including Boston Beer Company, LaBelle Winery, Moonlight Meadery, Smuttynose Brewing Co., Inc, Vermont Hard Cider Company, and many others. For the full list, click here.
The event, which takes place Saturday, September 7th, from 2pm to 6pm, features a number of great local businesses-with samplings and offerings for sale. This year nearly 20 local vendors will be featured including Damsel in Defense, Great Harvest, Miche Bags, Wicket Lit, Thirty-One Gifts, and more! For a full list of vendors, click here.
New this year, the Wicked Wine and Brew Fest will feature the musical variety of The Paulies, as well as comedic performances from Matt Barry, Francis Birch and Jim Bishop.
"We are looking forward to having another successful Wicked Wine & Brew Fest," says The Telegraph Events Manager, Jon Nevins, "Each year has gotten bigger and bigger, and this year we hope to see over 2,000 visitors. We love supporting the NH Food Bank, and look forward to working with them for years to come."
As it has in the past, the Wicked Wine and Brew Fest will donate a portion of the proceeds to the New Hampshire Food Bank. Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door, with discounts for those under 21 or designated drivers. Ticket price includes admission, entertainment, ten sampling tickets, and a five ounce commemorative glass.
Sponsors include Bellevance Beverages, Merrimack Flower Shop & Greenhouse, Infiniti of Nashua, and Steele Hill Resorts.
