Autumn is here. The air is somehow notably crisper and cinnamon scented.
The fall is hands-down my favorite season. I love the weather, the colors, the flavors (pumpkin EVERYTHING), and the extra hour of sleep we shall soon receive!
New Hampshire is the perfect venue for everything fall. Our turning leaves offer ambiance for harvest fairs and festivals, and our spooky winds howl through bare branches for more Halloween fun!

One of my favorite autumn elements is baking. The summer sun rolls low, my windows are still open, but the air is cooler, and the oven heat swirls through the breeze with spicy notes. *Consider adding raisins for a fruity twist on this fall favorite!
3 cups sugar
3 ¼ cup flour
1 can pumpkin (2 cups)
1 cup canola oil
2/3 cup water
1 tsp nutmeg
2 tsp soda
1 tsp cinnamon
½ tsp salt
1. Mix dry ingredients.
2. Add the rest and mix in large mixing bowl.
3. Pour into 2 loaf pans.
4. Bake at 375 for 50-60 min.
