8th Annual Motor Mania Cruzin’ into Hudson on July 12, 2014

Hudson - Telegraph Events is proud to present the 8th annual Motor Mania event; held on July 12, 2014 from 10 AM to 2 PM at the Telegraph Offices, 17 Executive Drive, Hudson, NH. The event is free to the public. Registration fee to showcase a car is $10 per vehicle. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Good News Garage, one of the first nonprofit car donation programs in the U.S.
Motor Mania is revving its engine and ready to showcase classic cars and motorcycles that belong to enthusiasts from across New England. And that's not all! We invite car and motorcycle owners to Cruise with Motor Mania! Registered participants of Motor Mania will rumble through downtown Nashua to the Telegraph offices to show off their vehicles before setting up for the main event. Not registered for the event yet and want to participate in the cruisin'? You may register online at the link below or on-site of the cruisin the day of the event.
Line-up and registration for the cruisin' will begin at 7:30AM at Granite Clover Self Storage (15 Northwest Blvd, Nashua). There is no additional charge to participate in the Motor Mania Cruisin'. Before the cruisin', there will be time to network with fellow car/motorcycle owners. On-lookers can catch the procession as cars and trucks are due to arrive at the Telegraph at approximately 8:30AM.
NOTE: Car and motorcycle owners that are not planning to participate in the cruisin' may proceed to the Telegraph offices for set-up/registration starting at 8:30AM.
After the cruisin', each vehicle will showcase their vintage, classic, or tricked-out cars, trucks or motorcycles to compete for 1 of 12 Motor Mania trophies. Judges will award first and second place trophies in the following categories: Best Antique, Best Street Rod, Best Truck, Best Classic, Best Custom, Best Muscle, Best Foreign, and Special Interest. Additional trophies will be awarded for the Publisher's Pick, People's Choice, and Best in Show. Ballots for the People's Choice award may be picked up at The Telegraph booth at the entrance to the event.

Motor Mania Car Show Awards
First and Second Place trophies will be awarded in the following categories:
Best Antique Car
Generally defined as a car over 25 years of age. Due to a wide variations of the definition, this category may include the veteran car era and the brass car era which is from the beginning of the automobile up to the 1930's. Car should be in original or originally restored condition.
Best Street Rod
Cars with large engines modified for linear speed. Typically has been provided with a powerful, modern engine and modern interior fittings.
Best Muscle Car
American-made 2-door sport coupes with powerful engines designed for high-performance driving.
Best Foreign Car
Pertaining to, or derived from another country or nation, not native to the US.
Best Sports Car
A small, usually two seat, two door automobile designed for spirited performance and nimble handling. Sports cars may be spartan or luxurious but high maneuverability and minimum weight are requisite.
Avehicle uniquely distinguishable from the usual, or designed for particular purpose (ie: fire truck, WWII era Jeep, bus, race cars, etc) which would pique the interest of the public at large because of its uniqueness or specialty function.
Best Custom Car
Factory built vehicle with an emphasis on altered body lines and interiors, paint colors or combinations, and technique or body parts not offered from the manufacturer.
Best Classic Car
A motor vehicle that is at least 30 years old, not materially altered or modified by the removal, addition, or substitution of essential parts except such parts that represent the original.
Best Truck and Best Motorcycle
Awards presented to the best truck and motorcycle in the show.

All event attendees are encouraged to vote for their favorite vehicle. Stop by The Telegraph booth to pick up a ballot. Make sure to cast your vote by 12:30 pm!
The awards ceremony will begin near the concession stand at 1:30 pm.
