Only five more days! Have you bought your candy yet?

Waiting until closer to the holiday before buying your 10-pound back of chocolates is sometimes in your benefit. Many stores will start putting sale prices on their candy assortments! If you haven't yet picked up your treats, check out your local paper for additional coupon savings. The Telegraph newspaper in southern NH even breaks down weekly coupons in their coupon newsletter!

I was reading a National Geographic article about 2010 Halloween trends. I was interested to learn that Americans give about 35 million Halloween greeting cards a year, with the most popular variety being grandparent-to-grandchild. I consider myself a pretty avid greeting card sender, but I don't recall ever buying one for Halloween. The costume trends were funny to learn as well! Here are the top ten costume trends for adults and kids in 2010:

My son was just one-month old last year; we dressed him in a really cute pirate bunting costume! He's going as a dragon this year! Rarr! I wonder if dragon will make the list! Do you see your kids (or your own) 2010 costumes on these lists? What do you think the popular costumes for this year will be? Google is predicting Angry Birds costumes, Harry Potter Characters, pirates again, The Smurfs, Star Wars and Mario costumes. Have you picked up any of these?
