Halloween Things to Do in NH This Weekend

Friday, October 28, 2011

Happy Halloween Weekend!

Though Halloween is officially on Monday, There are many spooky events going on this weekend. Also, many New Hampshire cities are holding their official trick-or-treat on Sunday! Check out our 2011 NH Trick or Treat list for information on your city!

Some of the great Halloween events this weekend include The Dark Crop Haunted Corn Maze at Lavoie's Farm in Hollis, Free safe trick or treating for pets and kids! at Petco in Nashua on Saturday, the Not-So-Spooky Spectacular at the Children's Museum in Dover on Saturday, and Spookfest on Saturday in Keene.

As the rains and winds get colder and forecasts of more snow for this weekend dance like sugar plums in our heads, perhaps we can't help but think past trick or treat on Monday and toward the coming season's joy. Embrace the spirit early and head over to The Telegraph's 35th Annual Santa Fund Run on Sunday, in Nashua. Every year The Santa Fund gathers generous donations from area residents to share with those less fortunate. The Salvation Army and Nashua Pastoral Care Center assist the Telegraph in the distribution of these donations. This year's run will include the first ever Santas Dash; this separate division will have its own awards going to the first 50 Santa finishers.

I have been listening to holiday music since eggnog reappeared on store shelves! The snow is really just icing on my already baking fruitcake! Do you or does anyone you know get into the holiday spirit early? Share in the comments section below!
