Things To Do in NH This Weekend
Friday, November 18, 2011
So, we didn't win the 3rd annual Concord community spelling bee. But at least we made it a few rounds before falling victim to a seemingly harmless two-syllable word of Irish origin. The night was still a lot of fun and event proceeds benefited the Main Street Concord programs to beautify and celebrate in our state's capital!
This weekend brings many holiday strolls, craft fairs and tree festivals. With Thanksgiving just a week away, I've been seeing more twinkling tree lights lining city streets, and holiday food displays in the grocery stores. I've got my holiday spirit, have you?
If you're already in the spirit and want to celebrate, or are looking to feel a little more holly jolly, check out the Holiday Craft Fair & Penny Sale in Nashua on Saturday, Crafts at the Capitol all weekend in Concord, Concord's "Fez"tival of Trees through November 27th, and the story hour "Read, Play, Shop!" event at Nashua's Pheasant Lane Mall on Saturday. As always, check in to the holiday events calendar on the NH.com Snow Fun page for fun events throughout the week!
