Tree Farm Locations in NH

There's something magical about the evergreen tree.
As all our mighty oaks and maples lose their vibrant leaves in the battle against winter, the quiet evergreen takes center stage. He seems taller, stronger, majestic. He is fearless in the face of bitter, icy winds.
This time of year many welcome a tall pine into their homes. He is festooned and bejeweled with love and memories. He is a shrine to happiness and warmth. If you're making plans to pick out your own holiday tree soon, check out the updates on out Pick-Your-Own farms page. We've added information on many more New Hampshire tree farms. Just click on a tree icon on the map for details and directions to a farm near you!
When picking your pine, be sure to measure your ceiling height before you head out. Choose a tree about a foot shorter than your room, keeping in mind stand and topper height additions.
Everyone has their own system and traditions when it comes to watering their tree. Some old wives tales to keep trees greener, longer, include adding aspirin, sugar and bleach to the water. Another suggests spraying your evergreen with aerosol hairspray (for straight haired trees only). There are also a number of commercial tree-foods available. While we can neither confirm nor deny these additives, we strongly suggest that water be a component to anything you feed your tree.
