Mother’s Day Weekend in New Hampshire

Friday, May 11, 2012

Do you have plans to pamper your mom this weekend? I sure do! We like to spend Mother's Day weekend with the entire family so there are a lot of us and we range in age from 65+ down to 4 months. This is a hard age range to satisfy so I turned to NH.com's Things to Do page to help us all decide on a fun family activity.

There have been many emails back and forth between my family members; some wanted to check out New Hampshire's museums and others wanted amusement parks and other things to do with kids.

We decided to visit Canobie Lake Park this weekend. Why? Its free for Mom on Mother's Day! She even gets lunch! Just for the record, I voted for visiting the New Hampshire Children's Museum for the same reasons. On Mother's day, mom's and grandmothers get free admission.

What else is there to do this weekend? Check out NHevents.com for a complete list of things to do. You can sort by your region, or the one you will visit, you can find free things, and I have even featured some events that I think are particularly interesting!
