Dark Fun & Scary Characters Await Thrill-Rush Seekers At NH Haunted Corn Maze

Monday, October 15, 2012

Do you know people who say they enjoy being frightened? Perhaps you enjoy it? Fear can cause a natural endorphin release. Endorphins are substances in the brain which increase the pain threshold and give people an exciting "rush." No wonder extreme sports are so popular!

This time of year, another endorphin-pumping activity lurks in the darkness! Haunted activities are favorite fall-time events, and New Hampshire has haunted houses and haunted fields!

One in particular is The Dark Crop Haunted Corn Maze at Lavoie's Farm, 172 Nartoff Road Hollis, NH. The Dark Crop is open Fridays-Sundays from 7am-10pm through October 28th. Admission is $8 for adults and $6 for kids 13 and younger. A percentage of the proceeds are donated to the Improv Troupe at Hollis/Brookline High School.

The Dark Crop is a haunted walk, through a 3-acre corn field full of rustling, spooky-sounds, and a few "characters" patiently waiting inside...

The Dark Crop producers kindly provide flashlights to daring patrons, but it's up to you to find your way to the maze-end.

Last year, we sent Heather Atwater to brave her way through the haunted corn maze. If you would like a little preview of what is in store for you, check out her attraction review here!

Love getting scared? Check out NHDailyDeal.com starting Monday, October 15th 2012 for a frightfully great deal on two or four-person admission to The Dark Crop Haunted Corn Maze! But this scary deal is only available through Friday, October 19th! Don't miss out!
