Decorate a Tree for Nashua's Festival of Trees at the Hunt Memorial Building

The Hunt Memorial Building trustees are asking businesses, organizations and individuals to decorate and donate artificial trees, three to seven feet tall, in whatever theme they choose to promote their causes. We will fill the Main Reading Room, the small reading room and the large foyer with donated trees. Premier viewing of this Christmas forest takes place on Saturday and Sunday, December 7th and 8th as part of Symphony New Hampshire's Holiday House tour.

Laconia Harley-Davidson "Shave the Date" Event to Kickoff Month-Long Men's Health Campaign
Meredith, NH

Laconia Harley-Davidson announced a month-long collaborative effort to raise funds and awareness for prostate and testicular cancer research and men's mental health challenges. Laconia Harley is participating in the Movember Foundation's month-long mustache-growing campaign and partnering with the New Hampshire Prostate Cancer Coalition (NHPCC) to raise critical funds to support prostate cancer research and education. Prostate Cancer affects one in six men and approximately one man in thirty-six will die of this disease. The campaign will formally begin at the "Shave the Date" event on November 2nd from 12-2pm at the Laconia Harley-Davidson dealership in Meredith, NH. Participants can learn more about men's health issues from NHPCC, make a donation to the organization and receive free shaves so they can start the month with a clean face for the Movember Foundation campaign.
