What To Do In NH This Weekend: Black Ice Hockey, Snow Carving Competition, Winter Festival, Circus & More!

Friday, January 25, 2013

Earlier this week, I heard a weather report forecast a wind-chill of 22 below! At this point in winter, I try reminding myself of frosted window panes, shimmering snowy-mornings with steaming peppermint lattes-- and when I can't quite recall my pre-holiday sentiment, I pine summer.

If you want to warm up to some winter events this weekend, don't miss the NH Regional Snow Sculpting Competition, Friday through Sunday, in Jackson, or the Nansen Milan Winter Festival, on Saturday and Sunday! The Annual Black Ice Pond Hockey Championships return to Concord for the 3rd year Friday through Sunday, and if that's not enough, don't miss the Circus Extravaganza--an interactive show aims to dazzle and delight young and old alike--on Sunday in Manchester!
