The main character, the Woodchuck, attempts not to hibernate this winter. See what happens! After looking over some real animal mounts, furs, and tracks, we'll head out for a hike on the trails at Beaver Brook to find evidence of animal activities in winter. On the first Friday night of each month during the school year, the Children's Museum of NH will open its doors to visitors for just $1 per person. On Dollar Deal Nights, the museum will be open from 5:30 - 8 pm, offering families a low-cost night out together. The Children's Museum is not normally open in the evening, so this is also a special treat to visit after-hours and enjoy creative play before bedtime.

You Are Invited to Support Family Promise At the "Fund the Van" Casino Night. Winnings paid in raffle tickets to a huge assortment of prizes valued from $40 to $80 each. Family Promise of Greater Rockingham County is the newest chapter in the national program that provides transitional housing for homeless families with children. What makes them special is that the housing comes with help and guidance to help them overcome the issues that led to their homelessness. For as much stability as possible in their lives, school age children stay in their own schools.
