You've got 6,440 acres to play in here. This is the home of Echo Lake, Profile Lake and Lonesome Lake. The Cannon Mountain Ski area is in the park, as is the deep glacial pothole known as the Basin. The Appalachian Trail crosses the park just a mile north of the Flume. Eight miles of I-93 wind through the park. Passengers will wish for a swivel neck to catch the views as you turn right, left, up and down. Drivers need to keep their eyes on the road. Follow the signs to the visitors center near the base of the Flume.
