The remains of the summer estate/plantation of the last of New Hampshire's Colonial Governors, George Wentworth. The estate was built just before the American Revolution and burned in 1820, leaving a cellar hole.Activities: Picnicking, boating, swimming, hikingAmenities: Amenities include picnic tables, a boat launch, flush toilets, and a group use areaFee: Admission is $4 for adults; $2 for children ages 6-11; children ages 5 and under and NH residents age 65 and over are admitted free.2008 Operation Schedule: The park is open the weekend of June 14, and then full-time, 10:00am - 6:00pm, from June 21 through September 1, 2008, weather permitting.
