The 2,000 acres of wildlife habitat at the Harris Center are primarily for conservation and environmental education programs. The center is open to the public, but if you are going to spend any time here, consider becoming a member. Membership a newsletter and calendar of events. You can participate in the annual bird survey, usually held in June on Mount Monadnock. You can also learn about trail work in weekend workshops devoted to keeping the center's trails clear for hikers.
