Forty-two primitive tent sites along the Androscoggin River within the 13 MileWoods scenic area offer a great launching point for canoes and kayaks, fishing and wildlife viewing. Activities: The Androscoggin offers great canoeing and kayaking opportunities for both novice and expert paddlers. The area is a favorite of fishing enthusiasts and is popular for watching moose and other wildlife.Amenities: A primitive campground, water and pit toilets are available here. Wood and ice are offered for sale.Fee: $21 per site/per night (no hook ups).Rates: Rates cover two adults and children under 18 on the site. Each additional adult is charged $10, children are $5. The maximum number of adults per site is 4, except in designated areas.Operation Schedule: The campground is open for reservable stays from Memorial Day weekend through Columbus Day weekend.
