This nearly 700-acre parcel was rescued from the bulldozer and with the efforts of 350 volunteers and thousands of hours of labor, became a park with a 1.5-mile loop trail that is completely wheelchair accessible (this also means it's easy to push a stroller). Part wooded, part open, part shoreline, the park attracts many birds and is home to deer and beaver and at least one moose.
