Teleflex Foundation Awards Grant to New Hampshire Aviation Historical Society

MANCHESTER, NH – The New Hampshire Aviation Historical Society has received a $3,000 grant from the Teleflex Foundation for an aeronautical sciences outreach program. The monies awarded will be used to develop a syllabus and acquire the teaching aids necessary for the program.

The Teleflex Foundation is committed to supporting domestic programs in the areas of education, health services, culture and arts. The Teleflex Foundation has granted more than $5 million since 1979. The goal is to make an impact in the communities where Teleflex Incorporated is located.

Founded in 1995, the New Hampshire Aviation Historical Society (NHAHS) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to preserve the history and promote the advancement and dissemination of aviation knowledge in New Hampshire. The organization’s mission is to save New Hampshire’s historic aviation-related buildings, aircraft, photos, and memorabilia, a valuable part of the Granite State’s aviation history.
