SPEDPAC of Bedford’s First Annual Fundraiser Surpasses $4K Goal and Unites Community in Supporting Families of Children with Special Needs

Bedford, NH: SPEDPAC (Special Education Parent Advisory Council) of Bedford recently held its’ first fundraiser - a wine tasting and silent auction, at the Bedford home of Pam and Pete Macdonald. 26 couples attended this event, enjoying food donated by Luisa’s Italian Pizzeria and Karen’s Kitchen while sampling a variety of fine red and white wines selected by wine expert Lauran Star Raduazo of Bedford. The event raised over $4,000 through generous donations provided by event sponsor Dovetail Dental Associates and donors including Bellman Jeweler’s, Royal Bouquet, The Meat House, T Bones, ATA of Bedford, The Moran Family, Allison and John Twite, Pam and Pete Macdonald, Lisa and John Riso , Lauran Star Raduazo, The Farr Family, Bedford Men’s Club, Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism, White Willow Day Spa and Beyond Basics Massage.

Proceeds from this fundraiser will be used to complete required filings to become a tax exempt 501(c)3 organization and to fund continuing educational opportunities for Bedford’s special educators, parent workshops and scholarships for paraprofessionals.
