New Year, New Home

Tuesday, January 3, 2012

SALEM, NH – The Salem Animal Rescue League (SARL) announces its New Year, New Home adoption event. The event will last 45 days and includes reduced adoption fees (20% - 50% off depending on animal selected, age and size), two promotional benefit days sponsored by Gold & Diamonds in Windham (NH), and “Salem Resident Days”, which offers additional incentives for Salem residents who adopt a pet any Friday during the promotion.

“Although we feel the value of the animals in our care is priceless, we also realize that the need for shelter space at this time is great,” says Schenley Klauer, Communications Manager at Salem Animal Rescue League. “We hope that this event will promote awareness in the community about the work that we do, and also find permanent placement for some amazing animals that will allow us to save others from possible euthanasia.”

From December 7, 2011 through January 31, 2012, promotional adoption pricing for all available animals will be in effect. On Saturday, December 17, Julie Weymouth from Gold & Diamonds in Windham (NH) will be at Salem Animal Rescue League, located at 4 SARL Drive (344 South Broadway for GPS navigation) in Salem, New Hampshire from 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM. During this time, visitors can exchange scrap or unwanted gold for cash, with 10% of the proceeds going to benefit the animals of Salem Animal Rescue League. Gold & Diamonds will return on Saturday, January 14, 2012 from 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM for another opportunity. In addition, “Salem Resident Days” will be held each Friday during adoption hours (12:00 PM – 4:00 PM) and Salem residents who adopt an animal will receive additional gifts.
