Bedford Village Inn Offers a Luxurious and Indulgent Valentine’s Day Experience

Extend the gourmet Valentine’s Day dinner into an overnight romantic getaway

(BEDFORD, N.H.) – This Valentine’s Day, the Bedford Village Inn is offering an unrivaled luxurious experience for lovers from near or far. For those that that only have the time for an intimate dinner together, the BVI is making sure that those few hours will be unforgettable. For others that have the availability to get away for an overnight romantic evening, the Inn is offering its most impressive romance package.

In the inn’s six, romantic, candlelit dining rooms, a sumptuous lover’s dinner and sparkling wine or champagne are the perfect preface to a romantic evening. A four course decadent prix fixe meal prepared by Chef Benjamin Knack begins with an amuse bouche and will include menu options such as: Vanilla Scented Parsnip Soup: Lobster salad, Parsley Oil; Potato Gnocchi: Honsheminji Mushrooms, Shitakes, Buttered Leeks, Oven Dried Cherry Tomatoes; Beef Tar Tar: Fried Oyster, Lemon Aioli, House Pumpernickel bread, Beet Puree, Truffle powder; Baby Field Greens: Fried Prosciutto, Grapefruit, Almonds, Mascarpone Dressing; Arctic Char: Shrimp Potato Cake, Yellow Split Pea Puree, Spinach, Grilled Filet Mignon: Pommes Puree, Serrano Wrapped Asparagus, Chocolate Studded Zinfandel Sauce; Open Faced Lasagna: Spinach, Artichokes, Tomatoes, Ricotta Cheese, Smoked Tomato Sauce; Bête noire: Basil & Raspberry compote, White Chocolate Shavings; Champagne Sorbet: Almond Tuille.

For those looking for the same romantic surroundings and high quality food, but with a smaller appetite, the Inn’s Tavern will be offering a three course prix fixe meal with a limited selection of the Dining Room menu for a reduced price.

For guests that wish to stay the night, the BVI is offering its Fireside Package in its most luxurious accommodation – the two-bedroom Summit Suite – from February 8 throughout February 14. The package includes private butler service in the 1,050 square foot suite (complete with one four-poster king-size bed and one queen bed). The suite also includes a spacious living room, a wood-burning fireplace (tended by a private butler), a whirlpool bath, Italian marble, and a wet bar with a small refrigerator. Essential modern amenities are also offered including: high-speed Internet, 32” HD flat screen television, and an iPod-compatible Bose CD player. In addition to the customary amenities, chilled Vueve Clicquot and a choice of Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail or Oysters on the Half Shell will be waiting upon the guests’ arrival. Guests can choose to enjoy the special four course prix fixe Valentine’s Day menu privately (for a $50 up charge), in-room under candlelight, and the butler will draw a bubble bath while dessert is enjoyed with hot toddy served fireside. Valentine’s Day will last into the morning as a gourmet breakfast in bed is delivered.

For those that cannot make it out on Valentine’s Day evening itself – whether it is because of children or simply because it is a Tuesday night – the BVI is offering a Valentine Celebration from Thursday, February 9 through Tuesday, February 13. Chef Knack has created a special three course prix fixe sweetheart menu with select menu items from the larger Valentine’s Day Dining Room spread.

Dinner seating on Valentine’s Day is available from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. by reservation only. The Dining Room four course prix fixe menu is $75 per person, and the Tavern three course prix fixe menu is $45. Tax and gratuity are not included in either.

The Fireside Package prices start at $650 ($50 extra for Valentine’s Day menu in-suite), not including tax or gratuity. Reservations are a must.

Cancellations will be accepted up to 72 hours prior to February 14th. Cancellations accepted beyond that point will be subject to a $25.00 per person cancellation fee not including tax.
