Islam and Sufi Talk and Dance

Please join us as Salaam Odeh shares her knowledge of the Middle Eastern culture and the Islam faith. Salaam is a Palestinian born woman, now a U.S. Citizen. She belongs to the group Women of Faith - a group that educates women on acceptance regardless of tradition or religion. She is a self-described human rights, peace & community activist.
Talk: 2 - 5pm. $15.00. Followed from 5 - 6 pm by an optional potluck dinner.
Dance of Universal Peace, led by sufi Rev. Jenaabi Finlay. The dance will focus on readings, practices and dances from the words of Hazrat Inayat Khan, who brought Sufism to the West. 6 - 8 p.m. $10 donation appreciated.
