Beer & Fear - Early Bib Pick-up Party for Adventure5k

CANDIA, NH -Adventure5k is just around the corner. Before you know it, race day will be here and you will be waiting at the starting line to start your muddy adventure. There is no need to wait in line the day of the race to pick up your bib and register when Adventure5k is having a "Beer & Fear" early bib pick-up party on October 12th, 2012, from 3pm to 8pm, at Liquid Planet Water Park in Candia, NH. Not only will you avoid the lines on race day, but there is also going to be entertainment for the whole family.

This outdoor festivity will feature music, kids activities, and plenty of giveaways. Liquid Planet's Milky Way concession stand will be selling food and beverages including Shipyard PUMPKINHEAD - The official beer of Adventure5k.

Make sure you bring the whole family because the kids are going to have a blast. There will be pumpkin decorating and pumpkin bowling. For adventurous kids and adults, you can ride the Escape Velocity Zip Line for the special low price of $5. The 1000 foot dual rider ziplines are 2 separate lines (side by side) that take you over the entire park, a fresh water lake and the beautiful woods of Candia from over 35 feet in the air.

Where does the FEAR come in? It just so happens that Haunted Acres, New England's most exciting haunted attraction, is located at Liquid Planet Water Park. Registered Adventure5k racers plus four of their friends can take advantage of the early bib pick-up special and get 50% off ticket rates while enjoying five terrifying attractions plus the maniac's midway at Haunted Acres. The actual Adventure5k race will be held at Liquid Planet Water Park in Candia, NH, October 13, 2012. The race includes a 5k run with water, mud and fun obstacles along the way. It is geared toward people aged 15 and up. Athletes of all abilities participate. Many people form teams, dress up, and challenge each other for fun. A team is not required to participate.

Race organizers are expecting more than 1,000 runners and at least 2,400 spectators on race day. The registration pricing is discounted the earlier runners sign up - the current price is $60 through August 31st, 2012 after which the price jumps up to $70 through September 30th, 2012. Adventure5k will again be fundraising for Moore*Mart, a Nashua-based nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing comfort to the troops abroad, and the New Hampshire Food Bank.
