Monday, March 18, 2013
NASHUA, NH - The Telegraph is pleased to announce the winners of the 25 Extraordinary Women award have been selected. Winners will be formally announced at an honorary luncheon that is taking place on April 23, 2013 from 12:30-2:30 PM at Radisson Hotel Nashua. The luncheon is part of Total Women's Showcase event.
The Telegraph's President and Publisher, Terry Williams explains, "In response to feedback we received from The Telegraph's Nashua 50 and Next 20 awards, we are pleased to recognize 25 women in Greater Nashua who excel in business, philanthropy, community service, and leadership." Over the past two months, community members have submitted nominees and a panel of local women leaders assisted in making the final selections. "Collectively we did our best to narrow the field of more than 70 people to arrive at these selections. We believe the selections made will appropriately launch this recognition program and will set the tone for future nominations," shares Williams.
A glossy magazine will be published and inserted in The Telegraph on April 24, 2013. It will feature each of the 25 women who have contributed and influenced the area. Williams continues, "We feel each woman being recognized will be an inspiration to young people and a reminder for all to push to achieve and leave a mark on the community."
Events Manager, Kimberly Lencki, says acclaimed speaker, author and humorist, Loretta LaRoche will be featured as the guest keynote speaker. Ms. LaRoche has sold out venues across the country for over 30 years with her outrageous one women show; soon to be seen at The Palace Theater in Manchester, NH. She has shared a stage with Former President Bill Clinton, Ellen Degeneres, Anthony Robbins and many other great leaders. Lencki says, "While we were looking for someone to entertain our honored guest, choosing Ms. LaRoche was by no means an accident." Continuing on, Lencki says Loretta LaRoche holds the same values as the women being honored. "Ms. LaRoche is on the Mass General advisory council for anxiety and depression. As well she is the president of The Humor Potential Inc., a company offering programs and products for life style management. She is making a difference just as the women we are honoring on April 23."
Tickets to attend the luncheon are $30.00 and can be purchased in advance by visiting: http://25womenluncheon.eventbrite.com/.
